A horizontal continuous casting machine is an advanced metal processing equipment, mainly used for continuous casting production in non-ferrous metal industries such as copper, aluminum, and zinc.
It mainly consists of a melting furnace, holding furnace, mold, cooling water system, traction machine, cutting machine, material rack, power cabinet, and operation cabinet.
This series of horizontal continuous casting complete equipment is specially developed for continuous casting of copper and copper alloys. It is compatible with various copper alloy materials such as pure copper, various brasses, tin bronze, aluminum bronze, and silicon bronze, and can stably produce cast products of various cross-sections including rods, tubes, and plates (slabs).
The unit mainly consists of a melting and holding system, graphite mold assembly, multi-stage cooling unit, servo traction mechanism, fixed-length cutting mechanism, and PLC automatic control system. It adopts a closed continuous casting process, effectively reducing melt oxidation and slag inclusion defects, resulting in dense internal structure and low segregation in the cast billet; the cast billet can be directly supplied to subsequent rolling, extrusion, and machining processes, shortening the production flow and reducing overall energy consumption.
Control features: PLC + touch screen human-machine interface, with closed-loop automatic control of melt level, furnace temperature, cooling water volume, and traction rhythm. Process parameters can be stored and recalled, allowing quick switching between alloys and molds, reducing downtime. The equipment operates stably and reliably, and is widely used in the production of copper material processing, wear-resistant castings, and conductive component blanks.

This medium-frequency induction horizontal continuous casting complete set of equipment benchmarks against the mature process route of Switzerland's WERTLI, adopting a medium-frequency coreless induction melting-holding combined furnace configuration, suitable for multiple copper alloy grades such as copper, various brasses, tin bronze, aluminum bronze, silicon bronze, chromium zirconium copper, and phosphor copper; it can continuously and stably produce round bars, hollow tube billets, slabs, and profile billets, widely used in short-process production of copper semi-finished products
With a mature pull-stop-reverse servo traction process, the servo drive performs high-frequency intermittent casting pull actions; the control system integrates a process recipe library, allowing casting parameters for different alloys and cross-sections to be stored and called with one click, making it easy to switch grades and molds, and suitable for flexible multi-variety production.
The system integrates closed-loop control of melt level, furnace temperature monitoring, and interlock protection for cooling water pressure and temperature, supports operation data recording and fault alarms, and offers an optional remote maintenance interface, facilitating on-site commissioning and later maintenance.
The equipment is arranged horizontally, requiring no deep foundation pit renovation, resulting in low civil construction investment; it supports single-strand, twin-strand, and multi-strand custom configurations. Compared to the industrial frequency holding furnace solution, the medium frequency configuration offers stronger adaptability to high-alloy and refractory copper alloys, with higher melting flexibility, especially suitable for small-batch, multi-grade copper alloy production scenarios.
Materials that can be produced: pure copper TU1/T2, H59/H62/H65 brass, leaded brass, tin bronze, aluminum bronze, silicon bronze, phosphor copper, CuCrZr chromium zirconium copper, and other special copper alloys.
Output billet forms: round bar billets, hollow tube billets, plate and slab billets, and special-shaped cross-section billets, with cross-section specifications customized according to user operating conditions.

The entire production line mainly consists of the graphite resistance holding and casting furnace body, sealed furnace lid and inert gas protection system, melt flow channel assembly, water-cooled graphite mold module, partitioned cooling unit, high-precision servo traction mechanism, fixed-length cutting device, PLC fully automatic control system, and cooling water circulation system; it can be connected to an upstream melting furnace to supply pre-alloyed copper liquid, or be configured with a feeding unit according to the process. The hot zone inside the furnace is entirely made of high-purity graphite components, relying on graphite resistance elements for uniform radiation-convection heating of the crucible. The melt remains in a static molten pool without liquid surface disturbance caused by induction stirring, ensuring stable melt flow and minimizing slag entrapment and oxidation issues.
The furnace body adopts a sealed pressure-bearing structure, with inert protective gas introduced to isolate air, inhibit high-temperature oxidation of graphite components, and reduce burn-off of volatile alloying elements such as zinc and magnesium; the graphite crucible can also have a deoxidizing effect on the copper liquid, effectively reducing the oxygen content of the cast blank. The cast blank has a uniform and dense structure, low segregation, and few inclusions, ensuring stable metallurgical quality. The produced cast blanks can be directly supplied to extrusion, rolling, drawing, and machining processes.

Upward continuous casting machine
The oxygen-free copper rod upward continuous casting machine is a new process for producing long-length bright oxygen-free rod, tube, billet, and other profiles. Long-length bright oxygen-free copper rods and profiles have high conductivity, low oxygen content, and other characteristics. The cast ingots are not directly used as finished products; they subsequently undergo **homogenization, extrusion, hot rolling, and forging** to obtain rods, tubes, plates, and strips.
